Background & Qualifications
I began as a help desk professional, specializing in software testing and development, where I was responsible for tracking, troubleshooting and assisting end users with day-to-day software challenges. I decided to change my career in favour of bookkeeping, driven by the idea of assisting small businesses, and helping them grow. With this motivation, I attended Langara College, obtained my Professional Bookkeeping certificate, and have been happily working as a bookkeeper for the past three years.
Working With Me
I pride myself on being detailed-oriented, trustworthy, honest and friendly. I provide my clients with the best possible advice tailored to their needs. I take great joy in assisting business owners and helping them to build their success story, and achieve their goals. Being a bookkeeper has offered me the privilege of working with numbers and analyzing data while also enjoying the many benefits of working with entrepreneurs and small business owners. It is a great feeling to be a part of their growth and improvement, something that really fuels my passion and makes every day rewarding.
My Interests
Outside of my career, I have a number of interests that keep my life active and interesting. I have recently delved more seriously into my love of running, training and completing a half marathon. I also dabble into other sports-related hobbies such as paddle boarding, hockey (go Canucks!), yoga, and belly dancing. Of course, after setting aside all these activities it is always nice to curl up at home with a cup of tea and a nice, long book to read!
